Welcome to Shield Law Firm (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the Firm”). By accessing our website (shelawfirm.in) or engaging our legal services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Legal services & no-refund policy
Shield Law Firm provides legal advice, representation, and related services. All fees paid for consultation, documentation, representation, or any other legal service are non-refundable once the service has been rendered or work has commenced. This includes but is not limited to:
- Initial consultation fees.
- Retainers and advance fees.
- Court filing fees and process serving charges (once incurred).
- Any payment made after engagement of the Firm.
We do not guarantee any specific outcome in any legal matter. No refund will be issued because a client is dissatisfied with a court order, settlement, or advice given, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
2. No attorney–client relationship without engagement
Browsing our website, filling out a contact form, or having a preliminary telephone conversation does not create an attorney–client relationship. A formal engagement letter signed by both parties is required for the Firm to represent you.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the fees paid by you to us in the six months preceding the claim.
5. Payment terms
All fees must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfers, UPI, and other digital modes. Any dishonoured cheque or failed transaction will attract additional charges as per law.
6. Confidentiality
We are bound by professional ethics to maintain client confidentiality. However, no method of communication over the internet (email, WhatsApp, contact forms) is entirely secure. By communicating with us electronically, you accept this risk.
7. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
